Silk has good tensile strength and little stretch, which make it perfect for pearl and stone knotting. #2 silk is small enough for most seed beads and 4mm stone beads. The cord comes wrapped around a card with the needle already attached. 2 meters is enough material for 1 30″ knotted necklace or multiple stringing projects.
