Czech 10/0 seed beads were once the standard size. They have been used in Native American beadwork for hundreds of years due to their larger hole size. Czech beads are more round than their Japanese counterparts, giving them a more elegant flow. White Heart beads are different from “Lined” beads. They use a two-step process where the White Heart is made of glass.

A hank is 12 – 20″ strands. There are approximately 4,300 beads per hank and there are about 18 beads per inch.
